I have no claim on most of this writing since most of it came from the book.I just rewrote it to fit Sanpe. I'm not sure ifI can do this kind of stories. It seems there has been a few changes. Well enjoy it anyway and if you like, tell me what you think.

I suppose you want to know what really happened that night, in the tower. How could I have killed him? How could I have betrayed him? The thing is I didn't, I did what he asked me too. I'll show you.
It was Flitwick who first warned me of the happenings in Hogwarts. He was frantic and in hysterics. I could see easily he was at the point of fainting so, I stunned him. That felt good, he annoyed me. Soon after I rush out into the hallway to find two of Harry's gang standing there. I didn't pay much attention to which it was I just didn't want them to follow me.

I had a feeling they would cause me trouble. So I sent them to look after Flitwick, who (as I claimed) fainted. They did as they were told and I ran up the stairs. It must be that midnight rush I sometimes get because I was up there faster then a blink. I saw there Order and some Death Eaters fights.

I knew as soon as I looked around that Dumbledore had returned. Draco was no where to be seen. Next thing was those Death Eaters running past a barrier. I had little time to stare at the seen, so I followed. I noticed Bill on the ground and I shuddered at a werewolves attack.

I ran up the spiraling staircase and found everyone standing at the door. I saw Dumbledore alone and weak, without a wand slumped up against a wall. Draco with his wand up ready to kill, but with my skills I knew he couldn't.

"We've got a problem, Snape," said Amycus; his wand was pointed at Dumbledore as well. "The boy doesn't seem able-"

Some one else had spoken my name, as well.

"Severus…"

I looked with more apathetic as I stepped forward and pushed Draco a side. I couldn't believe he asked me. With my anger and hatred of this job, they would believe it was against him, personally. My fellow Death Eaters fell back, speechless. Even the bloody werewolf.

I looked up into Dumbledore's eyes and I entered his mind. In those few seconds Dumbledore and I came to an understanding. In the silence of his mind he pleaded to me. Severus, please…I'm dying…the pain…Draco must not have my blood on his hands; there is still hope for him. You, you must do it…for the all. I knew Harry was there and I knew it was only a moment, but it was an eternity listening to his request. I knew then that hatred found its way on my face. I'm sorry. That was the only thing I could get through to him.

"Severus… please…" To them it was him begging for his life, but to me it was him begging for his request to be completed.

I raised my wand and pointed it directly at him.

"Avada Kedavra"

A jet of green light came out of my wand and hit Dumbledore square in the chest. He was blasted into the air and seemed like a life time to me as he fell. The moon light hit his face as he hit the ground and I said my silent good bye.

Then I turned to Draco, "Out of here, quickly." And we ran. Past the people I would rather be in company with and out to the grounds. I knew... I knew Potter would tell them what he saw and they would think I betrayed them, but all I did was obey a last request from the only man who I thought deserved his power and life.
