Chapter One- When I Met HIM.
Ellie's POV
On my thirteenth birthday, I had plopped down on my best friend, Lia's purple chair in front of the mirror. As my thirteenth birthday present, along with a laptop, hair dye, and my first set of make-up, my mom granted me access to a non-chaperoned party. Little did she know, the host of the party's parents were out of town. I brushed out my blue hair I had dyed two days earlier, and straightened the curly parts, styling it so part of my straight, soft hair covered my eye. I let Lia apply my make-up. For I had had no experience in that particular department. I hooked my silver locket my father had given me when I was 10 before he died around my neck, and slipped out of my robe into my white knee high dress with a blue belt. I put on my white and blue flats and took a seat back in the purple chair, looking in the mirror. "What did you do to my face? I look... pretty!" Lia chuckled. "Hun, you always look pretty. I just did the natural look on you!" I laughed. As soon as I did so, Lia's door swung open and I heard a deep voice begin talking. "Hey Li, have you seen my iPhone?" I spun the chair around to look at the guy in the doorway. He had brown hair. He had a tall, muscular build, and I swear, I could see his six pack under his tight, white shirt. I almost drooled. Lia rolled her eyes. "No. Now leave." He looked like he was gonna flip her off, but just rolled his eyes, smiled at me, and left. "Who was that?" I asked, when the mysterious guy disappeared. "Oh, him? That's Trevor. My brother? Haven't you met?" I shook my head. "No, he is always gone when I come." Lia nodded. "Yeah, well , he is 14 and thinks he's so big and amazing 'cuz he's older then me." She pulled her dress out of the closet and went behind the room separator thing. When she walked out, she looked like she was 16. She was wearing and over the knee red dress and red heels. She went to the table I was at and grabbed her red lipstick, applying it gracefully. She handed me some glossy lip gloss and I applied it fast, but it was on correctly. As we walked out the door to head to the party, I couldn't stop thinking about my Best friend's brother.
