Have you ever thought what it would be like if you wrote a secret love letter only to have your crush finding out about it? How would you react? How do you think your crush would answer? Welcome to a brand new Adrinette fanfiction or not? ;)

"Dear Adrien

This is probably the hardest letter I ever had to write, yet I want and need to do it for the sake of my own feelings. I feel like my heart may burst at any second if I keep it to myself for any longer. You may be wondering what is it about or maybe you have guessed by now that this letter hold my deepest feelings.

On the first day off school I fell in love and to this day those feelings have been growing stronger and stronger and I fear they will keep growing forever. You are the one my heart choose to love without my consent yet I'm grateful to have fallen for you. Someone so gentle, kind and selfless. Unlike others your fame and beauty did not ever cross my mind when I fell in love for you. (Well maybe the looks a bit but mostly the person you are did.)
I know your feelings may be different but from the bottom of my heart I keep wishing they aren't and if they actually are different then I hope our friendship stays the same. I do not want you to go away because you are a precious friend of mine.

Everyday I wake up with you in my mind and long to talk to you. I just can't help but wanting to see your smile.

I love you Adrien.

With love, Marinette."

Marinette sighed looking at the letter she just wrote. "As if she would ever had the courage to give it to Adrien."

Alya was looking above her shoulder then finally whispered.

"You should totally give it to him after class, girl!"

Marinette giggled with a slight sadness showing through.

"I wouldn't be able to. I would be rejected." Alya rolled her eyes.

As she was about to argue cleared her throat grabbing Marinette and Alya's attention. She was looking at them and it was clear they were caught talking. "As I was saying." She kept the lesson going, the two girls now silent. Marinette put the love letter inside her notebook partially grateful Alya didn't insist on her handing over the love letter to her crush.

The bells rang after a short while. It was lunch, most ran out of class excited for the break. Marinette closed her notebook, leaving it on the desk. Their next class would be with again so she decided it wouldn't hurt to leave her notebook. At that point, Marinette didn't realize the two red flags that would bring her to an unpleasant situation. She had left her love letter inside the notebook, it wouldn't have been a problem,… if Chloe hadn't realize Marinette had been doing it.

Marinette felt a pit growing in he stomach as she approach the classroom. Lunch was calm but there was an unusual tension in the air as she came back to class. The dark hair girl felt a lot of eyes on her and it seemed everyone was whispering. She couldn't quite pin point what was happening. As she stepped inside the classroom her heart dropped. Adrien was standing very still holding a piece of paper. Her piece of paper… her… love letter.

Adrien looked up from the confession his expression confused and somehow uncomfortable. Those eyes. His shiftiness. His nervousness. Everything was very clear and more so with his words. "We need to talk..."

He didn't had to say anything. He was about to reject her. And she knew it.
