What Love Is

You told me you loved me. I asked you what love was. You couldn't tell me, so I told you…

Love is all the little things in our lives.

Love is our tender moments.

Love is the laughter we share.

Love is wanting to be with that special someone.

Love is accepting someone no matter their faults.

Love is staying with someone through good times and bad.

But our moments were not tender. You didn't share my laughter. Apparently, you didn't enjoy my company either. You didn't accept me for me. You even left me when I needed you the most.

So when you told me you loved me, I knew it was a lie.

To me, love is a strong, binding emotion.

To you… love is just a word.

A/N: Well here is another one! In case you haven't noticed I've given up on my 5 reviews for new work thing. It wasn't really working and I have ALOT of stuff I want to post so I figure why wait.
