This is just a small bit I wrote based on the song "I'm kissing you". It's not a poem because I don't know how to write them but sometimes lyrics inspire me to write….
Kissing You
I saw my Dad tonight. He's worries about me
He told me that pride can stand a thousand trials
A thousand Trials…. One more with each day I live without you
He said that the strong will never fall, never fail
He reminded me of the day you told me you chose me because I was tall
I was your muse because I was almost of your height?
There must have been more to it than that
You had to have seen more
You saw all of me
You had all of me, for better or for worse
On the roof tonight I laid on the outdoor setting for a long time
I watched stars without you, without you pointing the brightest ones out to me
We rarely remained still enough to just stare at the stars to watch life go by us
We hardly had time to be alone together
My soul cried for you tonight
My body heaved hard
It remains full of pain Castle
The aching I endure when I'm awake …
In the night I wake up smiling cos I'm kissing you
I dream I'm kissing you Babe
You touched me deep, pure and true
You are a gift to me forever
In my dreams I'm kissing you
I'm only kissing you
Where are you now?
I only want you to come home.
