This is the Story of a Girl
By: Miharu Skii
Prologue
Everyone says he never really got over the death of his twin. Everyone says my mom and me made it better, but I don't know how that could be because he's a depressed drunk that tries to commit suicide on a regular basis. Ever since I can remember my father has sat in his chair and stared into space, lost in some memory only he knows. My mom was probably once beautiful, but in all my memories, she's tired and run down, trying to keep a smile on her worn face, but it never reaches her eyes.
Looking at them sitting in the living room together, I realize how much different we are from the rest of the family. All my cousins, aunts, and uncles are on holiday in America and I know that when school starts again James and Al and Rose and Victoire are going to talk non-stop about everything they did and saw. I'm going to have to listen and smile and nod. Good thing I'm in Slytherin or I'd have to listen to it all night long.
19 years and the effects of Voldemort and his Death Eaters is still effecting the lives of so many. Mainly me.
A/N—I know this isn't what really happened, but it's fanfiction and I'm allowed to do what I want, so don't flame me tell me that George married Angelina and had two kids and kept the store running. I know. That's why this is in a fanfiction and not the books.
Please Review and tell me if I should continue. I have Chapter 1 mostly written, so if I get a good enough response, I'll put that up ASAP.
