Journal Entry #563

I met Bilis again. He also seemed to think that our meeting would be our last. Even though I can see all of time and space, I can't help but feel like something is off, like I'm missing something. Is my knowledge of the universe not as omniscient as I was lead to believe by The Beast? Who is the Doctor? Why is it not in my knowledge? Everybody else knows about him, but ME! And, to top it all off I've been forced to act as regent while this kid comes to age. Yay me.

Mark looked away from his computer screen that had just finished translating the papyrus document dating back to the fifth dynasty Egypt that was found in Amenhotep III's tomb. He looked to his left where the actual copy lay on his desk.

"The oldest," Mark paused musing to himself, "Isn't the first?" Mark carefully put away the papyrus document and then pulled out a much newer document. The hand written document was found by a clergymen in London when he was going through records that managed to become unsorted during the WWII bombings.

My name is Ba'al. I like to think of myself as a child born between good and evil, but there was no good in either of my parents. Born from creatures known as The Beast and The Devourer. One can only guess at my destiny, and that destiny scares the hell out of me. I've heard there's someone who can help. Someone who helps people just to help. People call him, The Doctor. Doctor Who, you might. I have no clue. All anyone ever says is "The Doctor". Sounds pretentious if you ask me. Anyways, so apparently he just sweeps in and saves the day. Now, if only he can save my day.
