CLUELESS
LOVE. What does it really mean? I've red thousands of thousands of love stories and love quotes but still it confuses me. Is it love when your heart thumps like mad whenever he's around? Is it love when you miss him whenever he's not around? Is it love when you want him all to yourself, even if it means you're the selfish one? If all the answers to these question are YES! YES! YES! Damn! I am in love.
Well, here's the thing. There's this boy in my class. I've known him for quite a while now. He's a rich spoiled brat in my own opinion but sometimes he's kind, caring and overprotective… in a way. Might as well say, I have a crush on him for some time now. I have always challenged and yeah, yeah, I'm the loser which is the reason why he always calls me nii-chan. I hate that name but somehow I got used to it. BUT STILL IT PISSES ME OFF! DAMMIT!
Can this feeling be erased? Yeah, right. I wish. I'm getting scared with this feeling. Yup! The "HIKARI HANAZONO" is afraid of this.. THING! (sigh*). Of all people, why does it have to be him? Why can't it be just some normal boy out there? I'm afraid. So afraid. I'm afraid to get hurt. To get rejected. To get played off. To lose our friendship.
He gives me signs alright. I just don't get it. Is it romantically-inclined signs or just signs used to piss me off? He touches my hair whenever he feels like it. He backs me up to the wall whenever he likes to tease me. He accepts my challenges then after I lose, makes me do things that are really unnecessary like eating lunch with him privately or going to the park during Sundays. He's also very overprotective (more than my father actually.).
But sometimes, you know, I think I shouldn't bother being confused with these feelings because one thing for sure. I don't care whether he feels the same or not. All that I know is that I'm sure of mine now. Sure that I love him and I will never let him go.

"Really Hikari, you always do surprising things. You make me happy without you noticing it. How dumb are you, really? (sigh*) Just so you know, I love you too." Kei said to the sleeping figure in front of him. He then kissed her forehead and went out of the room.
After Kei left the room, Hikari smiled (She's still asleep, okay? ) after feeling those soft lips on her forehead.
"Takishima…" she murmured.
