Broken Figurines

A short drabble I thought of, picture them with all of the seemingly empty statuettes all around them. Spike and Buffy being the only ones without a protective shell and lies to cover their tracks... What would they have left? Except each other?

Disclaimer, I always forget to add this but NO, I do not own BTVS if I did then I could afford these beautiful new seude boots, but sadly no I dont own anything, 'Sigh'

BROKEN FIGURINES

When Buffy broke, Spike broke with her, after all a broken figurine just cracks further when surrounded by polished, perfect statuettes, staring off into space, a gloss shimmering, covering the despair within the seemingly thoughtless glass. Trapped inside the porcelain is the other side, the rugged, frayed, broken side. He was there to understand the pain of being an imperfection in a flawless world, two broken figurines fastening the pieces back on, the lines of the cracks remaining but stronger because of the love that attached them. A thousand dollar figurine down to a garage sale piece because of a hairline fracture a single mistake and all value is lost, Spike and Buffy, imperfect and alone, but their pieces couldn't fit better together.
