KNOWING THE FUTURE
Chapter 1 Brain washed and the letter
I looked up from the book I was reading- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire- it was getting late, I ran downstairs and walked over to my mom, I asked, "Hey Mom, I have to get a present for Megan's birthday party. Can we get Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince?" she said, "What's that?" I sighed and help up Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, she looked at me and said, "I don't see anything." I nodded and walked upstairs thinking I had read enough books to guess that somehow nobody remembered the books. I sat down at the computer and searched for Harry Potter, I got NOTHING. I knew I was right, but I didn't know why the world had been brainwashed or why I hadn't been.
I was laying on my bed thinking when I heard tapping on my window I sat up and saw and owl on the windowsill, I opened the window and the owl flew in it landed on my bed it stretched out it's leg and I saw the letter on it. I opened the letter and saw:

Dear (Mr./Miss.) Sarah Long,
We are pleased to inform you that you have accepted
at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please
find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on September 1. We await your owl no
later than July 31. Yours Sincerely,

UNIFORM
First-year students will require:
1. Three sets of plain work robes (black)
2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear
3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)
4. One winter cloak (black, silver fastenings)
