When Vocaloid 2 09, Korasune Ai, came onto the market, everyone was so excited! She sounded exactly like a human and had 5 different emotion settings. You could make her mumble, hum, sound angry, cute and joyful!
Every single child who had ever created his or her own tune wanted to buy her.
A certain girl, who went by the name of Mary, was one of the first few to purchase Korasune Ai. When Mary looked at the design of the fair-skinned, dark green-haired lady on the box cover, her heart began thumping wildly. She couldn't wait to test this new Vocaloid out!
Mary ran all the way home and immediately rushed to her computer. She began installing Ai, but when she realized how slow it was being installed, and how late it was, she decided to leave the computer on for it to finish overnight while she slept.
Len Kagamine was wandering around the database of Mary's computer when a teenage girl materialized in front of him. She had bright blue eyes similar to his and long, loose hair the colour of the heart of a forest. Unlike him though, she was not wearing a tie, instead, she was wearing three ties. Besides that, her outfit was similar to Hatsune Miku's, except for the fact that it was in a darker shade of green.
The girl extended her hand. "Hello onni-sama. My name is Korasune Ai."
The screen of Mary's computer flickered to life, showing the scene of a MMD-made forest. A MMD model of Len Kagamine dropped onto the ground, red marks clearly visible on his throat. As his neck was squeezed tighter, Len's face turned blue and his eyes rolled back in his head.
All he could do was let out a strangled scream.
Mary was woken up by a staticky, high-pitched sound that had been emitted out of her computer's speakers. Rubbing her eyes, she walked over to her computer. Seeing that Korasune Ai had been installed and that there seemed to be no problems with her computer, she decided to try the new Vocaloid out.
Let's start with something easy, Mary thought. She began prepaparing the song "SERVANT OF EVIL" for Korasune to sing.
When Korasune's sweet voice began singing, Mary listened in delight until she realized there was something wrong. Mary wondered what had happened to the instruments in the background. What was that humming sound?
