Ch. 1. The Dispute
"How can you say that after all we've been through?" The tall handsome man said exasperatedly to a beautiful women. In heated argument, the man quickly grabbed hold of the women's pale hand to stop her from leaving. The women tilted her head down as she tries to collect herself, tears threatens to spill over as events that happened throughout the day left her vulnerable to her emotions.
She tries to pull her hand out of his grasp, trying to leave without responding. Unfortunately, the man was as stubborn as she, and would not relent. He held her firmly, not hurting her, but not letting go either.
She slowly glanced at him, finally seeing him clearly for the first time today. She lets out a whimper, as tears falls uncontrollably. From his eyes, she saw his guilt, his pain and his regret. She can feel how exhausted he is, yet he doesn't seem to know when to give up.
"Then, what do you think I should do? I'm so scared when we fight like this," her words trembled. As fragile as those words were heard to others, they were like sharp knives cutting into him, as he felt anger and shame towards himself. He slowly loosen his hold as knew she will respond properly to him now. Letting out a shaky sigh, he pulled his wits together to persuade her against her decision.
"Eun-sang ah, let's not fight like this."
"You know the colour red is better than the colour blue for the baby's room."
