When he touched me. When he held me. I felt… complete… But even though I felt so happy, I gave myself a mental slap in the face. Wake up Tigress! This really isn't happening, I thought. But it was happening, and I wanted more of it. Unfortunately, that wouldn't happen right at that time because everyone was there, watching. Poor Crane had his mouth open like he had just seen a demon blast out of the earth. Embarrassed, I pulled away from his soft, warm grip. The feeling was gone…

As everyone else went to celebrate Po, the panda who saved china, I went to the corner of the burnt boat we were on and cried. Just to think, an hour ago, he would have called me a hard core and unbreakable master. But he just proved himself wrong. I was breakable, because he just broke my heart. I felt excited, I could be myself more around him! I was also scared, of what everyone else would think. Why must I have to be what everyone else wants me to be? At the orphanage, I had to be an innocent little sweetheart. At home, I have to be the brave and fearless warrior. But I'm not any of that.

"Hey, are you OK?"

I turned and saw Po, staring at me with that confused half smile half frown face. He was very good at making faces like that. It's kind of cute. His eyebrows rose a little in surprise, then I remembered that I had a bunch of tears streaming down my face. I turned back around and wiped my arm rapidly at my tears, trying to dry them.

"Nothing's wrong." I stated with a sniff, "Congratulations on your victory."

"Tigress…"

He lightly gripped my shoulder and gently turned me back towards him.

"We can talk alone, somewhere else. I mean if you want to…" He said nervously.

My head quickly shook a yes. I didn't know why but I REALLY wanted to be with just him right then. I gave a blush and prayed that the lord wouldn't let him see it. He noticed, and I nearly fainted, but he didn't say anything. He guided me as we jumped from ship to ship back to the main land. From there, we went to an abandoned alley and stopped.

"So what's the problem?" Asked Po, "We beat Shen! Aren't you happy?"

"What will we do when we get back to the valley of peace?" I asked.

Po was caught a little bit off guard. I just asked a question that was totally off topic of what he was saying. Even I was a little surprised that I said it, but today was full of surprises so it probably didn't matter much.

"Well…" Po thought out loud, "We'll probably train some more, maybe I can try to stuff 41 bean buns in my mouth."

"No, I mean US…" I said while gesturing between me and him.

"Oh! Well…" He thought out loud again, "We'll probably train some more, maybe we can pull a prank on Master Shifu!"

"No… I mean something SPECIAL for us." I said while taking his paws in mine.

What the heck was I doing?

Now it was his turn to be the victim of the blush phase. I saw a light shade of pink appear under the white fur of his mussel. I smiled a little in victory or… whatever. Then he started to laugh.

"Oh Tigress, I just had the weirdest thought." He said, thinking this was a joke, "I thought that you were asking me out! Heh heh…"

But I just stared at him, not a mean stare… but a stare with the genuine smile I had gotten when he blushed at me. He then got a surprised/nervous/weirded out look on his face.

"Are you… asking… me out?" He asked, taking a few baby steps away in case I broke out in fury.

My head made the tiniest up and down movement, and his lips pursed as his head got a bright redness across it like a firework. I had to hold a laugh back and felt a sudden urge to kiss him. I held back a little while then thought: Oh what the heck?

So I kissed him… on the lips…
