She took a step back as she realized the moment. Luigi had just told her the three words. Three words that would change his, and Maybe even her life...
"I love you."
Daisy had only seen him a few times before, but she couldn't hide that she had feelings for him to.
"I love you too." She finished boldly, looking at him with confused eyes. Suddenly, he broke down into repetitive sobs.
"What's the matter?" She asked, still looking at nothing in sight. "You are everything I've ever wanted and more! Now that I know you hate me, and Its all over!" He continued, falling on his hands and knees at her feet. "What? I love you too!" She tried to tell him, over and over. He still kept on crying, and saying the complete opposite reaction to whatever she was saying. Like, "How could you say that?" "I need you..." And "Don't leave me here alone!"
"I would never desert you! I need you too..." SHe continued, Feeling the distance growing between them.
Luigi didn't stop crying, but it sounded almost like laughing now... He kept saying her name over and over, as the distance between them grew and his image faded.
"Daisy! Daisy! Daisy!"
"DAISY!"
She opened her Eyes followed by a few giggles in the class. "Miss Daisy, Now I you might have not gotten enough sleep last night, but that doesn't mean that MY classroom is the place to do it!"
"Sorry Miss Cardnals..." Daisy Yawned, looking around the room. Peach was looking at her, and Mouthing some sentence she was to tired to put together, While Mario just rolled his eyes at the others in the back laughing. She looked back to where Luigi sat and noticed he wasn't there.
"Now Students, I would like to inform you about one special event happening later this week..."
All the boys started Getting a tad Roudy as most the girls just smirked.
"The Final report cards!" She exclaimed sounding as happy as a pig on thanksgiving.
There was a loud Groan, and a whole bunch of Awww's.
"Sorry I'm late Miss Cardnals!" A boy, dressed in green Exclaimed, running in from the hallway.
"Ah! Luigi! I thought you wouldn't show up today..." She said as she wrote something on a scrap of paper.
"He took the slip from her her hand, sighed, and sat down next to Daisy in an empty desk. His papers where quote loose, causing them to fall out. He was out of breath, and it looked like he just got out of a Wind tunnel.
He whispered Hi to her, as she smiled torwards him.
