Well, this is my first post on Fanfiction, and I hope you like. I know it's pretty short, but I wanted it to be snappy and to the point - it could also be pictured as a film trailer. Constructive criticism is welcomed. Enjoy!

Hello stranger – my name is Chiron. Welcome to Half-Blood Hill.

Beyond this tree is a place where the most legendary heroes begin their training.

This is where otherwise ordinary children discover the truth about their parentage.

This is where these children learn to fight the monsters that will attack them again, and again, and again throughout their lives in the outside world.

This is where these children will emerge from the battle a great hero – or, more likely, be overcome by monsters.

This is where so many children will never live past their teenage years.

This is where you learn to fight for survival.

This is the point of no return.

This is Camp Half-Blood.
