Sympathy for a Loved One

Setting: Takes place in Japan 1977, during Episode 3: Five Flashes! Roar, Panther!

As Karen saw her friend's boyfriend, he said that a bomb was stitched into his body. He got out the window and blew up, and she began to feel upset and distraught of the whole situation. Devil Mite's preposterous plan was to implant everyone that was working for him. It made sense that if they fell out of line, one would probably blow up from the inside out. Pretty gross… right?

After seeing CRIME Island and the training that Devil Mite was teaching them, Karen sat by her friend after realizing that her boyfriend was taking drugs in order to become a great champion. She swore to her that as her best friend, she would stop CRIME's attempt in blowing up the place. Especially, when it came to using her friend's boyfriend in the process.

It hurt a lot, just to feel her pain and what she was going through, but Heart Queen, Karen Mizuki told her that his murder will be justified in such a way that Devil Mite will fall down to his death.
