A golden she-cat kept low to the ground as she began to follow the scent trail of a mouse in the starry hunting grounds. She was too concentrated on her prey to realize that another cat had come up behind her.

"Duckstar," The tom said dryly.

Duckstar's ears twitched with surprise as she immediately turned to face the tom with stars in his fur, letting her prey get away. "Rose-Eye.." She said in disbelief. "I haven't seen you in moons. Why don't you walk in my dreams anymore?" The clan leader asked the StarClan warrior.

Rose-Eye approached Duckstar with long strides until he was looming over her due to his large stature, his nature friendly. "That is because I haven't come bearing a prophecy until now."

Duckstar tried to hide the concern in her voice. "A prophecy? Foretelling what?"

A pair of gold eyes met another as Rose-Eye hesitated before he recited the prophecy to the living cat. "Look for strength and courage where you least want to, as it is key in a long journey ahead."

Duckstar flicked her ears. "What do you mean by strength, and looking where I least want to?"

The deceased warrior shook his head. "I can say no more, Duckstar."

Duckstar wanted to let out a growl or hiss of annoyance, but thought better of herself. How challenging and cryptic did StarClan have to make this?!

Duckstar responded by dipping her head politely. "Thank you, Rose-Eye. I will keep this prophecy close to Lightheart and I's hearts as we try to figure out what this means."

"Good," Rose-Eye meowed with satisfaction as he laid his tail tip on the golden she-cat's shoulder. "Now, awaken. Wake up, Duckstar.."
