Rating: PG-13 (T)

Disclaimer: I own nothing to do with Andromeda (do you think you would have guessed that by now?).

Summary: On the way back to Andromeda Beka and Rhade admit their feelings. This is yet another Beka/Rhade story (if you hadn't guessed that by my summary), and reviews will be really appreciated.

Author's Ramblings: I wanted to get this up before my grandma finds out that I have C and I get grounded. It really sucks. I have to do an hour of homework a day and seeing as I hardly ever have homework that is a not so bad time to write. I've already got two crossovers, a CSI, and a Crossing Jordan story done but since it's all on paper it may take me a while to get them posted.

Enough of my ramblings, here's my wonderful (or terrible, or hopeless, or in need of help, or the worst thing ever written depending on how you look at it) story.

Admitting

Rhade sat leaning against the hull next to the Maru's bar with a scotch in one hand. He and Beka were headed back to Andromeda after picking up some parts. They only had two days left before they got there.

Suddenly Beka's door opened and she came out and after taking a seat on the opposite side of the bar poured herself a drink.

"You okay?" Rhade asked.

"What?" Beka looked up at him as if she was just noticing that he was there.

"It's three in the morning. Are you all right?"

"Yeah, just couldn't sleep," she leaned forward propping her elbows on the bar. "Why are you up?"

"Couldn't sleep."

"That's one I haven't heard."

"Even nietchszeans can have trouble getting to sleep."

Silence filled the air as they sat there drinking. Rhade finally stood up turning to go to his bunk.

"Hey Rhade," Beka said in a low voice, almost a whisper.

He turned back to face her, "yes?"

"About the bioarmor…" she trailed off not looking at him.

Rhade walked around the bar taking the glass out of her hand as she looked up at him and stood up. They were standing only a few inches apart. He raised a hand touching her cheek when he finally spoke his voice was also a whisper; "did you, and I mean you, want me dead?"

"God Rhade no," Beka broke off as her eyes filled with tears.

That was all he needed, "shhh," he kissed her softly feeling her give in as he pulled her close. "One more question, did you bet Ensign Amberdrake that I would go out with you before I went out with Lieutenant Tadrith?"

Beka couldn't help but grin as he wiped away her tears, "Telemachus!"

"Well you were right. I believe you'll be taking me on that shore leave that you just won."

"How did you know?"

Rhade kissed her neck, "nietchzean ears," she moaned as he ran his hands over her back.

"I could use some company," she suggested slipping one hand under his shirt and hooking the other on his waistband.

"Umm," he slipped his own hands under her shirt feeling her bare skin as he gave a playful smile, "is that an order, captain?"

Beka stared at him until he laughed and kissed her again.

"I'll take that as a yes," he scooped her up and carried her into her room.

Beka woke up as Rhade shifted closer to her kissing her neck softly, "there's something you should know," she rolled over so that she could face him while running one hand down his arm.

Rhade started at her with one hand resting on her hip, "Beka before you say anything-."

"Tel," Beka broke in, "I love you."

"You had me worried there," Rhade whispered with a smile as he gently pressed her down while kissing her again, "but I love you more."

"Umm, prove it."

JACK AND JILL WENT UP THE HILL AND DID NOT LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER.

I know this is short but what can I say this is the third revision and George Strait is playing on the radio and I'm bored out of my mind (and yes I do have one, when it's not preoccupied with Taylor, Michael, or David).

Opinions, questions, comments, your favorite paring, or you favorite animal. Review and let me know (okay at least do two of the first four).
