Haruhi started walking towards Kyoya's room. He said that he needed to tell her something important. 'maybe he wants to tell me my debt ha s been paid off, that im free. No, maybe he is telling me... no... that cant be it. Kyoya cant possibly love me.' she thought, brushing away the subject. when she got there, she knocked on the door softly, but enough so Kyoya heard it.
" Come in." he said not knowing who it was.
he was busy on his laptop. when he saw it Haruhi, he stood up strait and his cheeks started to flush pink.
she walked in silently, carful not to step on anything or trip and fall. when she saw him, she blushed furiously, seeing his cute expression. She wanted to kiss him right then and there. but restrained herself from doing so.
"I'm sure you want to know what I have to say," he started out with. "First, you might want to make yourself comfortable, this news might shock you."
Haruhi was a bit startled, to say the least. She wondered what he had to say. 'Maybe... No! Not that, Haruhi! He could never fall in love with you!'
"How should I start this... Every time you smile my way, you make my heart fly. Every time you glance at me, you put butterflies in my stomach. Every time... every time you go away, you take a piece of me with you. I love you."
Haruhi was now shocked. No, more than shocked. Amazed. Thankful. Astounded. Behind those glassy, mysterious eyes, he had feelings just for her. It took all of her self control to not run to him and kiss him right then and there.
"I know that you don't feel the same way, but, I'm begging you, don't tell the others."
Now the Shadow King is begging?! This is getting stranger and stranger every minute.
"No, Kyoya, for the first time I've known you, you are wrong." She said lovingly. "I love you more than I can say, than I can express. With all my heart and more, darling."
Then Kyoya did the most suprising. He walked over to her and put his hand on the wall next to her. He leaned so close to her their nose bumped.
"Do you mean it?" He said, almost whispering in complete delight, his heart beating in his head and neck.
"Yes." She kissed him, and for the first time in forever she felt loved and at home.
