It echoed through the empty hallways, over and over and over. It scared you so bad. Your best friend went insane after seeing his parents being torchered then killed right in front of him. Everyone knew not to come out after dark, but you didn't care. He was your best friend, your only friend you had to save him. You hear footsteps getting louder and louder. You cringe in your hiding place as you hear that horrifying tone " Come out, come out wherever you are, Markies gonna find you." The footsteps stop. You hold your breath hoping he didn't find you. "Y/N~. You can't hide from me~." He says in a sing-song voice. 'Oh god. Did he find me?'
You start to panic 'I should've never came here, especially after dark. I'm such an idiot.' You stop thinking when you realize everything went silent. 'Distraction. I need a distraction.' You look around to see if there's anything to throw that would be loud. You see keys in the corner of your eye. 'Found it.' You poke your head out a little bit to see if anyone is there. Once you knew it was safe you quickly reached out and grabbed the keys. You paused when you hear his voice. " Y/n. Please don't leave me like everyone else did." It broke your heart to hear that but you couldn't trust him. You threw the keys with full force.
You waited until you heard them touch the ground. You heard them drop and then heard Mark's footsteps running towards them. You let out a sigh in relief. 'Thank the Lord'
"DAMN IT Y/N! STOP TOYING WITH ME AND GET THE FUCK OUT HERE!" You hear Mark yell in frustration and goes running off. 'Now's my chance' You get out of your hiding spot and make a run for a door or window. As you get halfway you then realized... he never left. You ran faster and faster but he still caught up. You almost reached a door but he caught up with you. When he caught up to you, you expected him to hurt you but instead he hugged you. You were in shock, you couldn't move even if you life depended on it. "I missed you, y/n." It was him. The real Mark, not the insane, not an impression, the real Mark. You turned around and hugged him tightly "I missed you too Mark" He look at you in your e/c orbs and kissed you. You immediately kissed back. Once he broke the kiss he looked back into your e/c orbs and said "I love you Y/n, I always have and always will." you smiled and said "I love you too Mark, always have and always will."
