Just a small Rudy/Cecilia drabble. I recently played Wild Arms for the first time and just fell in love with this ship so hard. My brother never let me touch his systems which is why it took me so long to play.
Cecilia sighed as she sat atop one of the castle towers, the stars and moons glittering above her. It was hard to believe that just a little over a year ago that she'd been up in the smaller of them. While there were rumors about the space colony, few people thought that they were true. It was true that technology had been incredibly advanced a thousand years prior and some of the old technologies had returned, but most were extremely wary of all of the advancements Emma had made. Electricity, radio and even the Gull's Wing were regarded as forbidden and most thought they would bring the destruction of the world again despite the fact the Metal Demons had been defeated for good.
She swallowed and shoved the thoughts of the war away, shaking her head. She really needed to get to bed so that she could attend a meeting the following morning that would no doubt last all day. She stood up and looked over the side of the tower, wondering what her friends were doing. A breeze from the west stirred her hair and she smiled a bit, the thought of Rudy bringing a light blush to her cheeks as well.
"Princess!" The call from a young voice made her head snap to the side and she blinked, tucking some loose hair behind her ear. "S-Sorry for interrupting you when you asked to be left alone for the night, but Sir Rudy just arrived and I knew you'd want to be informed!" The boy's voice was barely a squeak and her smile widened as she patted his head.
"Thank you, Ken," she said quietly with a nod before lifting her skirts and rushing down to her room. A familiar blue-haired teen had his back to her as he looked out the window, his arms folded. With a mischievous grin, she walked up behind him and put her hands over his eyes. He jumped a little to feign surprise but the door had creaked so loudly that she knew he had heard her. She let her hands fall to her sides as he pulled her into a hug and placed a gentle kiss on her head. Cecilia let out a happy sigh as she snuggled against him and closed her eyes, glad to see him again after so many months of being apart.
