"Granger, must you have the most annoying cat ever?" Draco asked as he stood in front of her door.

"Crooks, did you get out again?" Hermione cooed as she picked him up. She cradled him close and nuzzled his head.

Draco sighed. Every single time Crookshanks got out he wound up in Draco's flat. He would act as if he owned the place. The worst of it was that Crookshanks liked to sleep in Draco's bed. Sometimes when Draco himself was sleeping.

"Yes, he got out again," Draco said. "Can't you keep him inside?"

Hermione smiled. "I can't keep a cat from going anywhere they want to. Especially when one is part kneazle."

She knew that Crookshanks was only going to sneak somewhere if he liked it. And if a person inhabited it, he was only going to be there if he liked that person. It was part of the reason Hermione and Ron had broken up.

Crookshanks had never liked Ron. It hadn't helped that back when Hermione had gotten him Ron had accused Crooks of just about everything. Crookshanks hadn't liked that at all.

"Look, if he likes you so much, maybe you'd come in for a cup of tea?" Hermione asked. She blushed a little at the suggestion as Crooks purred into her chest.

"I'd love that," Draco said.
