I woke up this morning seeing a day like any other in front of me, but little did I know, I couldn't have been more wrong.
I was walking home from school, thinking about my day at school. As usual everything had been normal unless you count that the lessons were even more boring than usual, but my friends as always had made the day come alive. I reached my front door and pushed it open tiredly, immediately Alex, my little brother was buzzing around me, excited for some unspoken reason. I was just getting annoyed of him trying to hurry me into the living room when my mum joined us in the hallway,
'Emma there's someone on the phone for you' she told me happily, I wondered what could be so important and followed her through to our living room. I put the phone slowly to my ear
'hello?' I said to the receiver, the familiar voice of Chris Columbus echoed into my ear, as my heart skipped a beat
'Hello Emma' he said 'I'm delighted to tell you that you got the part of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series' I couldn't help but let a scream escape my throat, my happiness hit the roof as I jumped up and down with my brother and mum in a happy hurdle, constantly screaming at the highest of fan-scream pitches.
That night the moment washed over my brain, I couldn't sleep and was still ecstatic with excitement, I couldn't wait to start filming!
But little did Emma realise I'm sure, this was the last day she was ever a normal child of 9 years old, for her sake I hope it was a good one. Forever in our hearts as the best of the best, a talented actress. This was my take on the day that Emma Watson's life changed forever as she became the beloved actress of Hermione Granger.
