First Day Jitters
"Daddy! You gotta wake up now or I'll be late!"
The little blonde girl shook the man still asleep in bed.
"DADDY!"
A deep chuckle came from the doorway.
"Olivia, why don't you go downstairs and eat breakfast and I'll wake up daddy, okay?"
Logan Larson-Wright knelt down beside his daughter and kissed the top of her head. Olivia frowned and nodded before running out of the room down to the kitchen.
"Julian, you do have to get up darling, or you'll miss Liv's first day of school."
Logan moved over to the bed and sat down on the edge. A groan came from the body wrapped in blankets.
The brunette attempted to kick the blonde off the bed, but Logan refused to lose this. He grabbed onto the exposed ankle and pulled his husband off of he bed with a thud.
"Okay, okay! I'm up! God."
Julian rubbed his eyes open and looked up at his husband from his place on the floor.
"No need for such force."
"You would have still been there when I got back if I hadn't have dragged your ass out. Now hurry up. We're leaving in ten minutes."
Logan left the bedroom for Julian to get ready and went down to the kitchen.
"is daddy up now, daddy?"
Olivia looked up from her Lucky Charms with wide brown eyes.
"Yep, he's up. And he'll be ready to leave in ten minutes."
He looked around the kitchen for the school bag.
"Do you think they'll like me?"
Logan turned around to his daughter and scooped her up into his arms.
"Of course they will. Anyone would be stupid to not want to be your friend."
The little girl smiled.
"Plus you remember Gabe. He'll be in your class. "
Olivia's smile grew brighter when she heard mention of Gabe Seigerson.
"Seems someone already has a little crush."
Julian announced as he came into the room, fixing his hair.
"Do not!"
The smile on the young blonde disappeared as her eyes widened. Logan and Julian both held back laughs.
"Alright, let's get you to school, shall we?"
