AN: Hi everyone! Here is a little Royai thing I came up with at 3 am on a school night a few months ago. Lol for some reason I get these ideas at night. Hope you like it. :)

The train whistle blowed and echoed as it pulled to a stop at the massive train depot. Many of the lanes were occupied with the machines used to bring the Amestrian soldiers home from Ishval. The instant one of the workers opened the doors, dozens of men and women dressed in blue uniforms stormed out.

These soldiers had happy faces, each of them excited to see their families and greet them with tears of joy. Most forgot what horrible things they'd done in the massacre just by reuniting with their loved ones.

Among that crowd of soldiers was Roy Mustang. He watched his friend, Maes, hug the breath from Gracia, then carry her away from sight. Roy found himself waiting for someone to fill him with the similar cherishment.

However, the so-called 'Hero of Ishval' had nothing but the bottles of vodka expecting him. It was a justified welcome for someone who took hundreds of innocent lives. The flame alchemist was only lucky enough to have something to drown his guilt.

Mustang decided to leave while the hotels still had vacant rooms. As he approached the exit of the station, he caught sight of the woman he'd respected since they'd met, Riza Hawkeye.

She was suffering with the same grief Roy carried, which made him feel worse for unintentionally dragging her into the war in the first place. Hawkeye stared at the groups, probably remembering she had nothing waiting for her either.

Before he knew it, Roy started towards Riza, causing her to jump slightly when he reached her side.

They gazed into each other's eyes, knowing that each of them was just as lonely as the other.

Riza smiled when Roy took her hand in his and said, "Let's be alone together."

AN: Sorry it was so short. Let me know what you guys think with a Favorite/Follow/Review, they make me very happy and dance to the Hustle ;P. Feel free to checkout my other stories as well, you can find them on my profile.

Before I go... Chapter 12 for Royai: Last Order is almost finished, I just need to write the next two scenes then read and edit the whole chapter. I plan on posting it by the end of this month, but I can't make a specific date (starting my Senior year next week!:D/ why do we spend over 2000 days for a paper and a handshake?!). Thanks and take care.
