My friend and I came up with this earlier today when we were sitting out in gym. We are die-hard Fruits Basket fans. She claims this idea is genius, along with our cosplay-for-next-Halloween idea. Yeah. Gym class is very fun for us…
Alice – Torhu Honda, because she's the main character and we couldn't/didn't have the energy to fit her in anywhere else. Remember, this idea was made up at about 8:15 in the morning.
Cheshire Cat – Kyo Sohma, I think the reason why is pretty obvious. But if the FB gang really did make it into a movie for this… Kyo would be a severely suckish Cheshire Cat.
Caterpillar – Ayame Sohma, why? He's the snake, close enough to a caterpillar. Again, pure genius.
Tweedle Dee – Kisa Sohma, she's little and cute, and we can totally see her wearing stripes.
Tweedle Dum – Hiro Sohma, he's little and kinda cute-ish. Again, he would look amazing in stripes, and we just think that Hiro and Kisa look good together.
Red Queen – Akito Sohma, the all-ruler of the Sohma family/the realm of Wonderland. And we also picked him for this role because the Queen always says "OFF WITH THEIR HEAD!" and with that whole little episode when Akito threw the vase at Hatori… it's pretty much the same thing, right?
Jabberwocky – Hatori Sohma, because he's the dragon spirit, and the jabberwocky is kind of like a dragon-ish-thing… yeah… again, with me being a "genius."
White Rabbit – (take a good guess, will ya? 'Cause it's really gonna surprise you…) Momiji Sohma, the rabbit spirit. If you didn't take a hint in the parentheses, you really need to get a clue.
THE MAD HATTER – Shigure Sohma, because he's crazy and is always hittin' on Alice in a way. And because the Hatter is kinda sexy, and Shigure is very sexy… we just picked him.
March Hare – Haru Sohma, because the Hare's kinda bipolar and crazy. Again, we made this list in first period, and it's gym, and our brains don't really work in gym.
LOL LISTINGS, castings that just made us laugh our butts off because for two of them, we don't like them, so we gave them really suckish parts:
Singing Flower Person – Yuki Sohma, it's not that we don't like Yuki, we like him, but because he looks like a girl and his voice is so soft in the anime, we just thought that this role would be perfect for him (just like the fairy-guardian in the Cinderella play they put on for the second Culture Festival).
Rock – Kagura Sohma, yes, we hate her, so my friend says, "Let's just have Kagura be a rock, okay? A ROCK!" and so… she's a rock.
Soggy Piece of Bread they Feed to the Jabberwocky – Rin/Isuzu Sohma, yes, we hate Rin, too. She is a dirty w**** who steals Haru away and… we hate her.
