In an insanely deep writing rut right now, so I'm just writing light hearted mini fics
Don't own the 100
Clarke hissed softly and stared at her leg. It stung like hell, but luckily there wasn't a mark to show that Miller had just shot at her. The pellet had hit her, but hadn't burst.
"You okay?" Fox knelt down, the two of them behind some bushes.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Clarke noticed the red splatter that bloomed on Fox's thigh. "You got hit?"
"Yeah, I'm just leaving now." Fox sighed. "Just win for us okay?"
"I will." Clarke said, determined.
"What's the plan?" Monty appeared behind them, Jasper, Harper, and Monroe right behind him.
"Just shoot everyone that isn't us," Clarke motioned to their little team. "We've lost more than half our people, so we need to even it out."
"Right, oh fearless leader." Jasper adjusted his grip on his gun.
"And who's going to take him down?" Monroe motioned to the top of the hill, where they could faintly see Bellamy.
Clarke frowned. "My sworn enemy, my rival, my-"
"Your best friend." Harper rolled her eyes.
"Her true love," Jasper whispered. Clarke smacked him good naturally on the arm.
"Cut the theatrics," letting out a groan, Monty said "this is a game of paintball, not some dramatic action movie."
They all laughed, Clarke's mock frown replaced with a smirk. "I'll get him."
Unfortunately, she barely made it ten feet before Octavia spotted her behind a tree.
She could hear the sounds of a fight down below, but she couldn't let it distract her from her mission.
"Come on out, Clarke." Octavia called, her many braids swinging around her head as she tried to get a better shot at Clarke. "I know you can't shoot from that far."
"Guess again," she grinned and shot Octavia right in the chest.
"Damnit really?" she looked down at the splatter. "Bellamy teach you?"
"Yup."
"Well, have fun." Octavia said, walking off the field.
Making her way again to the prize, Clarke saw Bellamy just sitting down, his gun not even in his hands. What was in his hands was a bunch of daisies.
She crept along the treeline, he faced away from her. She was still too far away, and though he had taught her how to shoot farther and more accurately, this amount of distance just wasn't possible.
Jut when she was close enough to touch him, he spun around and lunged at her.
Taken by surprise, she did the stupidest thing humanly possible.
Clarke dropped her gun. It fell down the hill.
The two of them stared at each other, and then she tackled him.
"Hey! This isn't allowed!" Bellamy protested as they rolled down the hill.
"Neither is sitting around making daisy chains!" she managed to say as they tumbled.
He wanted to say that there wasn't an explicit rule about that, when loud cheering interrupted them.
"Get off," Clarke laughed as she playfully shoved Bellamy away.
"Wha-" he looked back up the hill where Harper triumphantly raised the flag. "You were the distraction?"
"Mmhmm," she grabbed her discarded gun where it lay beside them and aimed it at his chest.
"You wouldn't." he deadpanned.
A split second later, a splatter of blue bloomed across his front.
"That's it," he went to tackle her again when a loud voice interrupted them.
"NO PHYSICAL CONTACT!"
"Yeah, save it for the bedroom."
"Shut up Jasper."
So I may have played into a couple tropes but yeah, I hope you liked it!
