By now the rain had decreased. The weather grew warmer and clearer. The ships finally reached the new land. Ryushi had been waiting for this for a season now and his dreams had finally come true.

What will I find? he thought.

What's in store for us?

Since the day that they had left, Ryushi had never been lonely. Calica hardly ever left his side, and even when she did, he always had his bond-mate, Aricel, to keep him company.

Certa knows how much he loved her. Much to the same as she felt for him. They were inseparable. As the days went on, their love went from a few kisses here and some more passionate ones there, to near absolute love.~~

And then, there they were, setting anchor in the new land. Before the ship had even stopped, Ryushi and Calica had already strapped two harnesses to Aricel's back, strapped in, and took off. This was common among all of the exploration crews as they were just as eager to see what they had found. Soon the air was full of wyverns.

So with a simple thought from Ryushi, Aricel sped across the horizon. The new land didn't look much different from the Dominions. There was only one thing unnerved Ryushi. There was absolutely no sign of life!

"Do you suppose that there's only life in the Dominions?" Calica asked

"No there has to be native people to this land! There just has to be!" Ryushi replied.

After hours of searching, the exploration team finally set up camp.

"Kinda eerie, huh?" Kiko said. He was a middle aged Kirin man with a tuff shocking red hair.

"Ya," Ryushi replied, "but me and Cal are goin out for one more sweep of the area.

So, Right before dusk, he and Calica set out again. After about 45 minutes, they both seemed hopeless of finding anything. As they were about to head back, Calica saw something.

"Ryushi, look! It's a fire. There's a camp down there!"

And with that, Ryushi flew toward the fire and landed. After entrapping the harnesses, Ryushi looked around with excitement tingling throughout his entire body. Then they both heard a noise be hind them. When they turned around to see what it was, they both almost passed out from shock. There standing before them was Li'ain.
