Mel came into the office, carrying a large box.

"Hello Rob, Sally and blech! I have come with the newest innovation."

"A device to grow new hair!," Buddy quipped.

"This is a word processor."

"Word processor?," the tree of them said together.

"It is the latest innovation in typewriters. Your old typewriter is now obsolete."

"Like your old hair!," said Buddy.

"Uh, Mel, I'm fine with my old typewriter," said sally. "We've been together for ten years."

"I'm sorry, Sally. Alan's orders. He feels that this word processor will make you work quicker. And it cost $150!"

She groaned. "Well, let's get this over!"

She took the paper out of the old typewriter and looked at it. "This is the last thing I'll type on this typewriter," she said sadly.

"I guess it's typed its last type!," said Buddy.

"Mind if I take this home with me?"

"I don't see why not," said Mel. "Well, I've got to get going now." He left.

The guys helped her take the old typewriter down and put the new one up. Inside the box with it was a fat instruction manual. She leafed through it.

"I've gotta learn all this? Ugh!"

She sat at the word processor, turned it on, and put paper into it. Then she pressed down on a few of the keys. It suddenly started typing gibberish. She backed away from it.

"It's a beast!"

"And it needs taming!," said Buddy.

She leafed through the booklet again. Then she went back to the typewriter and pressed down on a few keys. Once again, it typed something on its own.

"This needs special thinking!"

She slipped her shoes off and propped her feet up on the desk!

"You like to think with your feet?," said Buddy.

"I just need to relax for a bit."

"Uh, please don't make it too long; we've got to finish up the show," said Rob.

"Five minutes is all I need."

She actually sat like that for just three minutes. While doing this, she studied the manual. Then she put her feet back down and typed something.

This time, she had full control of the typewriter. She quickly typed a couple of paragraphs. She took the paper out and showed it to the guys.

"I'm impressed!," said Rob.

"You're good at thinking with your feet!," said Buddy.
