Okay, so, here is my Wicked story! Yay! Please review, and please no flames. I love the idea of Nessa and Boq, even if he did not love her :(.
Nessa took a deep breath in as she pushed the final button her dress through the buttonhole. She examined herself in the mirror, which was sitting before her wheelchair. Her dress crossed her chest as did the buttons and the neckline went onto her neck. Her red cushion was at the back of her chocolate hair tied up in a bun. She was just about to make her newest law official in front of Munchkinland.
"Milady, it is time," said, Pensy, her secretary. She had bright red hair and a petite body. That day she was wearing a blue blouse and a hot pink skirt, while her shoes were black, and Nessa had to hold back her puke. Nessa put her hands on the wheels and wheeled out of the room. Pensy had been her friend through thick and thin, and she was grateful for that, because it might come in handy soon.
"Pensy, hold my hand," Nessa said, in a tone that implied something was wrong. Pensy grabbed hold of Nessa's hand and they walked and rolled to the balcony that looked over Munchkin-Square. All the Munchkins old enough to vote stood before her. Nessa took a breath in. This is it, she thought to herself. She put a forced smile that hid all her pain on and looked at her subjects,
"My fellow Munchkins! Good day to you all!" she said into the microphone that stood before her. There was no response, but that was the way it always was, "Milek has before you the newest law," she continued, looking at her Head of Law. He had bright orange hair and a purple suit with green pants on that day. He nodded and said in a squeaky deep voice,
"Yes," he unrolled the paper and read the new law for the first time. His eyes widened, "Every Munchkin is forbidden to leave Munchkin land without consent from Nessarose Thropp," the crowd gasped and screamed at her. She looked down sadly at Boq. He was yelling with a bright red face at the balcony. And it hurt. It always hurt. The screams. The hate. The death. Her father had died a few months before, and then Elphaba hadn't bothered to come and help Nessa.
"She's just as evil as her sister!" yelled a fat Munchkin from the crowd.
"Worse! Those animals can have speech! We need our freedom!" yelled a man,
"Quiet," Nessa said, and her voice echoed throughout the square, "I will let Milek read the amendments to this," she said, as she turned her chair around.
"She's just leaving so she can make another stupid law," said a voice. Nessa wheeled around.
"Who said that?!" she screamed, no one answered,
"Tell me! Who said that?!" she yelled at the crowd, until one person stepped up. A man. A man who looked like Boq. A man who was Boq.
I made up the names because I have not read the book Wicked. How was it? Please review! I get encouraged when people review!
