Buttercup

One day Ino was visiting Shikamaru for a get together for Choji's birthday. While Shikamaru was getting changed, Ino decided to look around, for she was one who didn't stay in one place. As she was passing by his computer she saw a note. Curious as she was, she looked in it. And was surprised to find it addressed to her.

My Ino

You're my buttercup
You make me glow
With all you're yellow
And wonderful flow.

You're my buttercup
Because you butter me up.
You help me when I'm stuck
Or when I'm in a rut

That's why you're my buttercup.

As she finished the little poem for her she found that Shikamaru was behind her and whispering the words to her.

"I know I may not be the best poet, but it's all that I could do for you." he whispered into her ear as his arms encircled her waist. Slightly blushing she turned into him and laid her head on his shoulder.

"For me?" she asked even though she knew what the answer was already. He nodded as the response. She smiled. This made him happy.

"Thank you" then she kissed him.
