A/N: For the record, I only did a Freddy story (that wasn't even really about Freddy) because I needed to write a Freddy story. Oh well, on to the next short piece of stupidity.
Spring
Springtrap
After the Fire
What's going on? Why does it smell like smoke? Why is everything harder to-
SHUT UP! The building's on fire. That new kid probably wanted us dead-well, more dead. I need to get out of here. (I need to see the outside.)
But there's no way out. You have been looking for an exit this whole time. Don't think I can't see what you're doing, even when I'm not in control.
Stop your whining. With this building coming down, there will have to be some place to escape. (The walls are very unstable.)
Then go find it. I know that I can't stop you, and I don't care if you and I are both finished here. I just know that if you do make it out, people will come after us.
I don't care. I can get out. I WILL get out. (I have to. For them.)
The broken rabbit started to walk to the door when the flames erupted into the room. They quickly engulfed the toys and drawings on the walls, destroying them. The rabbit then sprinted to the door and tried to pry it open. But like previous times, it wouldn't budge.
Told you. Look, I know you hate me, and will probably kill me for this, but I do know how to get out of here.
How? (What has he been hiding?)
Spring moved to pick up a Freddy plushie. It seemed to be another toy the managers had put in, but when Spring turned it over…
YOU. HAD. A KEY. THIS. WHOLE. TIME!?
Yes, and you can kill me later. Just leave. I won't even try to stop you. (I couldn't even if I tried.) Just… take the plush, please.
Springtrap walked to the door and used the key to open the door. He stepped out into the dawn, finally free. He wasn't free for long, however, because he had walked out into the midst of firefighters putting out the fire.
Go limp.
Springtrap fell to the ground, still clutching the Freddy plush, and feeling at peace for the first time.
A/N: Anyone else have a Springtrap doll? No? Ok, then I AM insane. Good to know.
