The 10 Commandments of Band

Thou shalt not have any other activities before band.

Thou shalt not idolize the drum major.

Thou shalt not make any graven noises unto thine instrument.

Five days thou shalt labour on the field. On the sixth day, thou shalt have a competition.

Honour thy drum major and thy band/drumline/flag captain so that thine's days in band shalt be long and fruitful.

Thou shalt not murder the sound of thine's instrument

Thou shalt not commit adultery unto thine's section

Thou shalt not steal thy neighbor's mouthpiece

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy stand partner

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's reed, nor thy neighbor's instrument, nor thy neighbor's solo.
