How awesome was last night's ep? I laughed, almost cried and everything in between.

While the ep had a lot of really good points, there was one aspect that really caught my attention. The whole wedding postponement was a perfect example to the Abilene Paradox. I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with this, but basically it's when failure to disagree causes you to take a course of action no one wanted to take. There are all these negative fantasies about why not disagreeing is best. In this case, Booth thought a big wedding was needed because Brennan deserved it. And in Brennan's case it was her whole 'a church wedding is important to Booth' bit.

Anyway, here's my little tag to the wedding. Hope you enjoy it.

Disclaimer: Bones belongs to Fox.

I was on my way to hand Booth my psychological profile for our newest case, when I spotted Dr. Brennan crossing the bullpen. Slowing down, I waited for her to catch up so we could both enter the office. We nodded at each other as a form of greeting.

"Sweets…" Booth nodded my way, acknowledging me briefly, before focusing his attention to his partner and wife. "Bones." His smile and the obvious spark in his gaze, plus the fact that she was mirroring his expression, told me they had plans.

"I'll be quick." I gave them the rundown as I passed the file over to him.

"Hmm…" Booth glanced over the file, scanning his eyes over the pages. "I'm paying the victim's husband a visit after lunch." He closed the folder, waving it for emphasis, and stood.

"We're still working on cause of death." Dr. Brennan supplied, saying she would return to the lab after lunch.

"Okay." I started to make myself scarce, but my smile probably hinted them that something was up.

"What?" Booth glared at me, slight annoyance hinting his tone.

"Glad you guys put the negative fantasies aside and made it work." Couldn't help but voice my thoughts.

Dr. Brennan rolled her eyes. "I hate psychology." She said it more out of principle than anything. I took it as my cue to leave.

As I walked back to my office I couldn't help glancing back, catching a glimpse of them as they walked out of the office. I grinned. I was happy for them, because they were able to work out the conflict.

And they also gave me hope. Perhaps one day I'll work out the romantic conflict too, settling my love life.

A/N: For those of you wondering about my unfinished Bones stories, thanks for the support and fear not, cuz I'm working on it;)
