Ash and Yancy lied on the rich burning Undella sand next to each other.
After the PWT tournament from last knight they decided to go to Undella bay. Pikachu was sleeping with Togekiss happily.
In his swimming suit Ash decided to get up and explore, kissing the sleeping Yancy before he left.
He walked into the shore and felt at peace. Small waves washed up his feet. He began to walk into the water.
In the meantime a whirlpool began to form in the middle of the water.
Yancy woke up to see Ash missing. "Ash where are you?" she asked as if he could hear. She was worried sick and told Pikachu to search for Ash in the Pokémon center.
As the rodent left Yancy's eyes began to water, that is until Ash submerged from the ocean on a Wishiwashi school. She was rather surprised to see her man on a huge Pokémon like Wishiwashi. She began to stop sobbing as Ash waved.
"There is much to see Yancy." Ash said gallantly. Yancy was at awe. "Come on! " Ash said giggling. "Let me grab Pikachu." she said. She recalled Togekuss and started running towards the Pokémon center.
Yancy walked into the building to see Pikachu talking to an old fisherman. "You will need it. It's something that I can forsee." Pikachu looked at the kind man holding a sapphire flute. "Come see Sr. Joel anytime soon."
After changing into a diving suit, Yancy walked with Pikachu unsure of the flute rather than the old man. But she smiled as they approached the shore where Ash was waiting. "Oh Prima" Ash said with harmony.
Yancy backed up as a Primarina appeared from the oceon and landed in front of Yancy and Pikachu. It winked and cried. Yancy hopped onto Prima's back as Prima held Pikachu close. It dove into the waters along with Ash.
At first the couple could only see a school of Skrelp and a few Dhelmise.
Ash swam close to Primarina to give Yancy comfort. "Prima?" Prima gasped as they approached what appeared to be a cavern.
Suddenly they heard a cry from inside. "Wishi" Wishiwashi insisted that it and Prima would investigate. Ash feeling uncomfortable for Yancy's sake turned and have a smile at his fiance. Ash was still unsure what the wild Pokémon wanted out of him.
During Yancy's nap from earlier Ash got sucked into a whirlpool which then immediately vanished. Having not enough time to holler Ash soon came into the depths of the water. He then met a Primarina that gave him a nudge.
Soon Primarina used flash to light up the cavern. Swimming into the dead end the entire group was face to face with Kyogre, the sea basin Pokémon. It appeared to have been dying of blood loss. Ash swam to Kyogre itself and petted it.
Primarina nuzzled the crying Pikachu as Yancy was sad for Kyogre and kept quiet. Kyogre moved something from the sand with it's only working fine. An egg. Pikachu suddenly remembered the flute that was given to him from earlier.
Pikachu somehow knew what to do with it. It and Primarina swam back up to get some fresh air. Yancy underneath the waters was now on Wishiwashi too. Holding Pikachu into the air Prima began to hear a peaceful tune being made by the sapphire flute.
Beneath the ocean Kyogre smiled at the trainers. It stopped moving and closes it's eyes. Ash and Yancy were both astonished. Yancy saw Ash trying to fight off his tears and hugged him Soon they swam back to shore, him holding the egg.
After a long pause Ash smiled and placed the egg onto the sand. Wishiwashi and Prima both looked at the trainers thoughtfully and swam away, knowing that they would need their help again.
That night at the hotel Pikachu kicked his feet onto the bed sighing. Ash couldn't tell what was bothering his old friend but looked at the egg that was in an incubator. He took off his hat that Yancy gave him as she walked being held by him sleeping.
