Kouichi finished up his story, letting the silence overtake the same group. He seemed to make himself shrink from Kouji's piercing stare, only looking up at the sound of a Trailmon tooting their horn. Hanging out of the windows was the other half of their group.
Angler pulled to a stop a little ways away, making his passengers run to their friends. Takuya rubbed the back of his head in a sheepish manner, Bokomon waved happily along with Patamon, while Kouji only glanced behind at Kouichi, who tried to sink into the floor.
Junpei was the first to notice, halting at the new member with a familiar face. "What..."
Izumi stopped her jolly ranting on Takuya's behalf, sending a confused look his way when she saw Kouichi.
Tomoki was the only one who simply stared, too shocked to form words.
Takuya dropped his hand, looking back and forth between everyone, "Well, I see we have some explaining to do..."
