Just as Izumi began to relay everything that had happened to Takuya, Junpei and Tomoki turned to their own D-Scanners, pressing button after button, hoping Kouji would respond.
Junpei pressed two buttons at once, "Kouji! Kouji can you hear me?!"
He sighed as Tomoki continued on beside him, "Don't worry Junpei-san, we'll find some way to contact Kouji-san!"
Junpei nodded, about to resume the button smashing session when the character for light displayed on his D-Scanner. Adrenaline filled the older boy, "Kouji! Kouji can you hear me!?"
"Junpei?"
Tomoki immediately stopped pressing on his digivice, "Kouji-san! Kouji-san are you okay?"
"I'm fine Tomoki." Kouji sounded confused, "Are you guys okay?"
"Yeah," Junpei stole a glance at Izumi, she was saying something about Duskmon being inside Sefirotmon. "We managed to get out. Listen! You and Takuya are inside Mercuremon's Beast Spirit!"
"What?!"
Tomoki struggled to stand on the tips of his toes, "He's right! And listen! Duskmon! He managed to get inside! You have to watch out!"
Junpei continued, "We tried to get back in, but we couldn't. Kouji, be careful!"
"I wil-"
Junpei stared at his now quiet digivice. He shared a worried look with Tomoki while Izumi finished up her call with Takuya. At the dead silence, the three simultaneously looked up at the huge Digimon before them.
