As soon as Kouichi was discharged from the hospital, it didn't take that long, after the doctors recovered from their initial shock, they agreed to waver any fees because they couldn't explain how someone who was dead easily came back to life by just a tear.

Kouji kept a firm grip around his brother's waist, the others following closely behind. He was listening as the others relayed the final battle, Tomoki and Junpei throwing their arms all over the place as they described Susanoomon and how they all became Susanoomon in the end.

Kouichi remained silent, smiling at everyone's enthusiasm. True, he missed the final battle, but he managed to help create a miracle.

They were heading for his home. It would be safer that way, once the twins were ready to let their parents know they knew about the other.

Their friends finished their story, and Kouji finally spoke.

"After that... Lowemon contacted me, told me about you. As soon as we got out of the elevator, Takuya showed us where you went. But you weren't there." His already tight grip got tighter, and Kouichi placed a hand on his brother's.

He looked up, seeing his house in the distance. "My house is just over there." He looked at his brother, "Do you mind?"

Kouji shook his head and turned to the others, "Junpei, take Kouichi."

The older boy nodded, supporting Kouichi easily as Kouji pulled away.

The two started to walk, Kouichi keeping an eye behind them until they turned a corner. Then he faced forward again, keeping his voice steady.

"Thank you."

Junpei smiled, "Don't mention it. You're my friend, after all. Even if we didn't hang out much."

Kouichi shook his head, "No, not about this."

Their paced slowed, "What about?"

"You." His voice was soft. "And Kouji."

The two stopped.

"You knew."

"It wasn't that hard to figure out." He looked down, "Izumi even knew."

Junpei was silent. Kouichi finally looked up, his eyes not accusing, just... blank.

"I want to thank you, for being there for Kouji when I wasn't. It... It means a lot to me."

They resumed their walk.

"Anytime. And... your welcome."
