A groan alerted the Starmon in the medical room. They hurried over to the sound originating from Takuya. He opened his eyes, not expecting to find Digimon hovering over him.
"W-what...?"
Another groan sounded over at the other end of the room. Junpei struggled to sit up, caught under the bars over the bed. "What's going on? Where are we?"
A Starmon hit a button, causing the bars to slide over. Izumi was the next awake, holding her head. Tomoki was next. Takuya blinked a few times before getting out of his bed, and the others followed suit. Kouji was the only one still out.
Junpei rushed over, not deterred by getting his headgear and placed a hand on the other boy's shoulder, "Kouji? Kouji, hey!" It was then that he noticed the absence of another. He looked up suddenly, turning his head every which way. Finally, he turned to the others, "Where's Kouichi?"
Takuya frowned, about to say something when a Starmon entered the room. "Oh hoshi. They're awake boshi. SuperStarmon will be pleased hoshi."
"SuperStarmon?" Izumi said the collective thought out loud. "But Kouji isn't up yet..."
"Well," Takuya rubbed the back of his neck, "He has taken a few hits in battle recently... Maybe he needs the rest?"
Tomoki lowered his head, "I hope Kouji-san is alright..."
Junpei smiled, "He'll be fine. I bet once we find Kouichi and he checks up on his bro, he'll be up in no time." He tried to hide his worry, lightly squeezing Kouji's shoulder.
The Starmon at the door seemed to perk up at the name of their sixth member. "Oh, your friend hoshi? He's with SuperStarmon boshi."
There was a collective groan, "Why didn't you say so earlier!" Takuya turned towards Junpei, "Watch him while we find Kouichi, okay?"
The older boy gave a thumbs up with his free hand, "You can count on me."
