One Word Prompt: Mint
Mirandy
Andy stretched and sighed as she woke up, blinking and yawning as she wiggled within the confines of her lover's arms, "Mmm…."
Miranda shifted against her, drawing Andy in closer subconsciously, her arms holding tight as she murmured nonsense in her sleep.
Chuckling, Andy smoothed her hand through Miranda's hair, loving the soft strands that filtered between her long fingers, "I love you, Miranda," she whispered, feeling her heart swell at the words.
Those three little words always made her fill with happiness. It didn't matter if she was saying them to Miranda or hearing them.
Brushing her lips against the head tucked into her neck, she chuckled when Miranda mumbled and grumbled, "My alarm hasn't gone off."
"I'm sorry to wake you," she murmured softly, "go back to sleep."
Miranda groaned and blinked as she withdrew her face from Andy's neck, "What are you doing awake?"
"Thinking how much I love you."
Miranda blinked, and smiled, "I love you, Andrea." She stretched up and gave Andy a quick peck.
Andy gave her one back. Then she gave Miranda another, and it quickly turned heated, until her lover pulled back with laughter on her lips, "What?" Andy asked, slightly breathless.
"You need a breath mint," Miranda chuckled, scrunching up her nose, "morning breath is rather a turn off."
Andy giggled, smiled, and reached out to her bedside table where she kept a pack of Altoid mints. Popping it open, she threw three of them into her mouth, and chewed them with a smirk before she planted her lips against Miranda's.
As she had caught the older woman by surprise, she wiggled her tongue past warm lips, and caressed Miranda's tongue with her own, feeling the sting of mint in her mouth and nostrils.
Pulling away, she laughed out at the blissful look on Miranda's face as she spoke, "And there's your morning breath mint, straight from the whore's mouth."
Miranda cracked an eye open as she joined in the light laughter, "Well, so long as you're my whore, I'll take a morning breath mint at any time."
Andy smiled and gave Miranda another kiss, swallowing the happy chuckles.
A/N: And here's one in memory of the icky morning breath I had when I woke up.
Hope you liked it.
