I told you I'd give you a chapter, no matter how small, before the end of the month, and I have delivered! It's not that good since I was in a rush to write this (I literally just wrote all of this in like 10 minutes), but there's some info that you might want to keep in mind for later. More info at the end!
Music starts playing with a blue backdrop. Two darker silhouettes of people appear on the backdrop, and even though they're silhouettes, it's clear that there's some animosity between them.
Suddenly, large white letters saying 'Total Drama Battle for Power' appear over the backdrop, with smaller letters say 'Aftermath' beneath them.
It then shows a clip of Alejandro's elimination in Total Drama All Stars, and then following, a clip of Sierra's elimination from that same season, before the screen appears once again.
Suddenly the audience begins cheering as the curtains open.
The Aftermath stage is completely redone. There's now two two-person couches slightly tilted towards each other in the center of the stage, both a bright pink color with matching pillows. On one side of it (the side where the contestants who don't compete on the season usually sit) are four three-person couches instead of two. On the other side is a completely empty area. Also, the ugly vegetable-looking lanterns are completely removed.
On the one of the two center couches is Alejandro, while the other is the seat of Sierra.
"Welcome to Total Drama Battle for Power's Aftermath!" Alejandro announces. "In this episode, we'll be giving some juicy info on the ex-contestants as well as some exclusive interviews of a few of the new contestants!"
"This is Total Drama's third year anniversary, doing three seasons per year, and we plan to put in a few twists for every season this year to change up the game a bit! There'll be more on that later!" Sierra adds in.
"First of all," Alejandro speaks again, "you may be wondering where Geoff and Bridgette are. They will be returning as the hosts while we will be going to the site of the season and interviewing the contestants still in the game. However, Geoff and Bridgette just moved in together, so we're giving them a break."
Sierra nods. "Also, while Geoff and Bridgette are getting closer, a few other past showmances are having some issues. For instance, Jasmine and Shawn's long distance relationship hasn't been working, so they've decided to, quote unquote, 'take a break for now'. "
"On top of that, Sky and Dave are still on bad terms. While we haven't heard much – if anything – from Sky's end, Dave has been online constantly belittling her. Will they ever make up? Who knows!"
"Harold and Leshawna have actually gotten back together!" Sierra exclaims. "Speaking of getting together, here's a reuniting of Lindsay and Tyler!"
A clip plays on the screen of Tyler stepping out of a limousine in a fancy suit, Lindsay gasping then completely romp-hugging him.
The audience awws at this.
"Speaking of reuniting, Sierra, the Total Drama brothers have also reunited, with Tyler as a new member!" Alejandro exclaims.
Out of the rest of the limo, Trent, Justin, Harold and Cody get out, waving.
Sierra exclaims, "CODY!" before swooning and falling over.
"Sierra?" Alejandro asks. "… Sierra? Um, ignore that for now… the final few couples to talk about that are still together are, of course, me and Heather which is still going smoothly. Zoey and Mike are still together as well. Meanwhile, we have a brand new unexpected couple. Anne Maria from Revenge of the Island and Topher from Pahkitew Island. No one's sure how it started, or when it's going to end. The final couple to talk about is Sam and Dakota."
Sierra finally gets up. "Sam and Dakota are still going strong, although they haven't seen each other in a while because Dakota and Ezekiel are getting treatment. Rumor has it that they might appear in the next season in some form or another."
"That's pretty much all the information on the old contestants," Alejandro said, "so how would you, the lovely audience, like to hear about a few of the new contestants?"
The audience begins cheering.
"Roll the clip!" Sierra exclaims.
The first clip is of an olive-skinned boy with brown hair covered by a red baseball cap. He has green eyes, with a small scar under his left eye. His shirt is a white baseball jersey with the number 35 on the front in red. Above his head in white letters it says 'Magnus' and in the right bottom corner it says 'The Baseball Freak'.
"Hey, my name is Magnus, and me and another one of the contestants are going to be answering a few questions for you!" He says. "First question is, just how excited am I. The answer to that is SUPER excited! Next is where I am right now. All contestants are quarantined right before the show so we can't see any of the other contestants beforehand. The final question for me is, what's my strategy. And to be honest, I don't have one. I do best when I go with my gut, so that's what I'm gonna do!"
The audience cheers.
The second clip depicts an extremely nervous looking girl with wavy light brown hair and brown eyes. She has a green tank-top on and white bracelets on each arm. Above her head in white letters it says 'Jillian' and in the right bottom corner it says 'The Jealous Gossiper'.
"Um, hey, my name is Jillian… I'm supposed to answer some questions about the audition process and some stuff about my stuff. Well, the audition process is pretty easy, you just have to fill out some stuff and send in a video and I highly suggest applying. Um, and then I'm supposed to answer whether I'd rather win and be hated by the fans or be loved by the fans and be the first one out, and I'd prefer to… be loved and be the first one out, I guess…"
Alejandro speaks up. "Well there you have it! Look forward to seeing more of both of them this season! Also, the producers told me that Jillian's super nervous right now, so don't expect her to always be this nervous. Although they did tell me that there's another girl who's always like that…"
Sierra interrupts his rambling. "There's one last thing we need to announce before we go. The new twist! In their auditions, the contestants told us a curse they'd like to put on someone else, and a power they'd like to have for themselves. The producers did have to alter them a bit so they'd fit, but most of them are pretty much the same. Anyways, those curses and powers are gonna add a brand new part of the game! You see, instead of cursing someone else and getting your own power, you start with your own curse. But we have a new timed competition that everyone will compete in separately, and the winner of that will not only be lifted of their curse, but gain their power to be used at any time they want."
Alejandro nods. "Well, that's it for now. Expect to see us again once the first two contestants are eliminated."
"Bye!" They say together.
The audience once again cheers as the screen goes black.
So, I plan to get out two chapters per month since my life is still kind of a mess right now and I'm not sure how much extra time (let alone motivation) I'll have. But no matter what, I promise that I'll get one chapter out per month (or like right at the beginning of the next month if I'm in a rush).
Despite my schedule though, I really am looking forwards to writing this (even though I'm not the best writer) and I HOPE that you like it, although since like I said my life is a mess and I'm not the best writer in the first place it could be complete trash. But we'll see.
Anyways, see you next time.
Pokemon FTW signing out.
