Standing off to the side and slightly behind the imposing figure formally greeting yet another dignitary from yet another family, she watch on in silence…never fidgeting, never speaking.
Bowing to the visiting head and his eligible son as they pass on by with barely a nod of acknowledgement in return, she felt relief as her father spoke with the last arrivals.
Following meekly behind the head of her own family, Hinata came to terms with the current situation as they entered the crowded meeting room.
As the bidding and arguing commenced, she sighed softly to herself and resigned herself to her fate as being merely a pretty china doll to forever be placed under a looking glass.
