Tarnished Tragedies
By: Devi Rhea Circe
Remus had just settled down for an evening drink before retiring to sleep. While sipping his fire whiskey and carousing the Daily Prophet, He heard a tapping on the window. He rose and let in the beautiful eagle owl. Once the parcel was removed and a sickle placed in the pouch, the owl gracefully took flight.
Remus hummed in delight as he realized his monthly subscription from "Lycans we're here". There were personal columns such as Moonlight Tragedies (tales of becoming Lycan) and Tarnished Silver (tales of suffering and hurt). It had adds for councilors and support groups as well as personal adds for anyone interested in romance.
Remus always glanced through the personal adds even though he knew there was no one for him in the pages. The first add to catch his eye had a photo of a striking young woman who looked familiar.
The description read:
I am a 23 year old who is laidback yet adventurous, I'm new to the Lycan way of life. I am around 5'7 with wavy blonde hair and large brown eyes. I was working as a nurse but an accident occurred leading to my transformation. I'm looking for some one to spend my life with, some one older, some one kind, some one who knows when to say no to my stupidity. I am looking for my second year DADA Professor, so if you see this or you see him, give me an owl. Sincerely,
Luna Lovegood
Remus quickly left his chambers in the north tower and walked to the west wing. He had no idea whatsoever as to why she would want him. Remus wandered up and down the corridor trying to make a decision. He could confront her now or run away 'like a coward' his mind spat at him. Stopping in front of an ornate door with a silver plaque that read: Professor of Divination: Luna Lovegood, he knocked.
As the door opened he drank in her shapely appearance just as she did his. They remained this way for a while just realizing what was happening and clearing any doubts they had. When the last doubt was gone Remus leaned forward and gently drank from her lips and both were consumed.
A/N: So tell me what you thought, Good, Bad. Love and kisses, Devi.
