The strangest mission in Gundam history
Chapter one: an odd job for Duo.
It had been several years since the destruction of the Libra battleship. And one particular day, as duo was making a few modifications to his Deathscythe hell when a call came in on a secured line.
"I'm coming." He said, putting the wrench back into the tool box.
The person calling him was Sally Po, her hair still in those twin braids she liked.
"Hey duo, I'm glad I found you at least."
"What's the problem?"
"There's some suspicious activity in a certain area of the rain forest that need's to be investigated, but I can't seem to find any of the other pilots, you need a job?"
"Yeah, been running low on funds lately, and the Deathscythe is getting cobwebs from being unused."
Sally nodded. "Alright then, here's the details."
An image of a bunker, surrounded by tropical trees and vines appeared on the screen lower left corner of the screen. A number of troops were on guard duty, and a transport plane had landed on a short runway near by, crates were being transported into the bunker. They were solid metal, yet had a fine wire mesh over the front.
"The visible part of the bunker is the entrance to a sprawling underground complex, it is equal in size to a space colony, yet hasn't been used since before our new after colony calendar's been in use."
"That long, huh?"
"Yes, that long."
Duo gave a low whistle. "That's a pretty long time. What kind of 'Activity' has been going on over there?"
"From what we can tell, a large amount of soldiers, workers, worker class and Leo class mobile suits, raw materials, supplies and some unidentifiable goods have gone into the installation. However, we have no idea how long this operation has been going on, or what organization has been funding it, not to mention what their goals are."
"Ok Sally, what's my mission objectives?" Duo asked.
She smiled. "Thanks Duo. Your mission is to infiltrate the installation unnoticed, take a few pictures for evidence, and copy whatever data they have in their mainframes about their operation. If possible, you should try not to engage them in combat, whether it's on foot, or in your Gundam, well figure out how to handle them once we get some information on the operation."
"So another mysterious military organization is starting some suspicious activities and we need to know what, sounds like fun, and those Leo suits might allow me to stretch out the Deathscythe a bit too."
"Ok, when should I leave?"
