I smiled as I looked at Edward, or more specifically, Edward's eyes. Those beautiful topaz eyes that I could drown in and forget everything. When I looked into his eyes, it was just the two of us. The rest of the world had no meaning.

Those gorgeous eyes looked deep into my plain chocolate brown ones and it was if he could read my soul. Sometimes, I wasn't so sure that he couldn't read my mind. It felt like he knew anything and everything. I never wanted to leave the gaze that held mine. I wanted to be in it forever.

I felt that I could do anything when I was with him, but at the same time I was aware of my plainness when we were together.
