Lucy
One morning Mrs. Martin came in with something covered by a blanket, I had no idea what it Mrs. Martin uncovered it. It was a hamster! Mrs. Martin said it was a girl and we could think of at least four names to put on the board. There was Lucy, Daisy, Elephant, and Julie. These were the totals for the votes:
Lucy: 8 Daisy: 7 Julie: 5 Elephant: 6
Yeah! The winner was Lucy! That is the name I voted for. Lucy is really cute. She's also very furry. I like… okay LOVE the furry feel of her! Then an idea struck! I could make Lucy a sweater with her name on it. Since my mom is a tailor she will be able too. This will be awesome. A couple hours later the bell rang. It was time to go home. Once I got home I told my mom my idea. She loved it. Then she asked me what I want it to look like. I ran to my book bag and got the picture I drew during class. My mom stated right away. While she was doing it I played my favorite game on the computer, Club Penguin. Two days later it was done. It fit Lucy like a glove. At first Lucy sniffed it. Then she left it alone. Apparently she liked it. All the kids adored it. Then Mrs. Martin saw it. She asked who made it and I raised my hand. When she called on me I told her my mom did. Mrs. Martin was amazed. Then little Lucy started squeaking. So, I went over to her, and I noticed she had no food or water. I decided to clean her whole cage. Lucy was very grateful that I did. I even sprayed a little air freshener on it, because it kind of smelled.
