There was no sense in arguing over this mess of a relationship: it was as good as gone.

She was grieving, and regretting.

How could he?, she had wondered time after time. There was no answer to her question though.

He was distant, and irritable.

Damn her!, he had cursed, but she still danced circles around his mind.

They had forsaken the only people who had ever cared about them, and they had done it for one another. Her and him, they weren't meant to be, it was just some fluke in their minds, they had reasoned.

Here was the end, they were about to be right.

Their love wasn't special. The kisses weren't firework-inducing, and the sex was-- well, they rarely had time for romps in their busy lives.

So, why couldn't they just walk away right now?

He was always a sarcastic bastard who could never give up in their fights. He would never back down when she did something wrong. He wasn't perfect either, so why be bitter about her faults?

She was too headstrong, women weren't suppose to rebel against their lover. She wanted to be independent

and successful, but he was a man and men provide for their women. Why couldn't she just be normal?

He was cold, unfeeling, and hated everything about her and her life.

She was fiery, uncontrollable, and hated everything about him and his life.

They were two different people.

So, why couldn't either believe that this was really the end?

His hair was too shiny, his skin too pale, but he had this sexy smirk that sent her blood rushing about at

once.

Her hair was an ugly shade of red, she rarely took care of her freckled skin, but she had this brilliant, sparkling look in her eyes every time he walked into the room.

His family was full of murderers and inbreeds. They were mean and spiteful; he was the best of them.

Her family was too big and cheerful. They couldn't afford new clothing, and they sheltered any beggar that came along: she was the best of them.

So, why couldn't they work this out?

He was a Malfoy. She was a Weasley.

Her and him, they weren't meant to be, but here they were, kissing and reuniting.

She was his Ginny.

He was her Draco.

So, how could they not be together?
