A Mere Glance
We bumped into each other one morning before Transfiguration, it was brief but in that one moment when I caught his eye, the usual scowl printed on my face, I could barely breath. How had I never seen this amazingly good looking Ravenclaw boy before? Why did I even care about a stupid Ravenclaw? Then again, why did he smile at me?
I stared at him through the entire class, sitting at the back of the room with a clear visual. It was his face that was so amazing about him. It was nothing special, especially when I had two friends as good looking as Blaise and Draco around me. Unlike Blaise and Draco however, his face was sweet, genuine and he had a smile that was contagious. When Professor Magonagal dismissed the class, I was immediately confused. How had this happened? I didn't learn a thing, except the name of the Ravenclaw boy, Terry. When he stood up he looked over at me and his large smile slithered it's way across my face as well, as a pink glow flushed my cheek.
Draco, as per usual, bumped into my to get my attention and like a sheep I followed him out of the classroom. Not before I caught a brief snippet of Terry's conversation.
"Who is that black haired girl?" he asked.
"Pansy Parkinson," Someone replied. "Why?" they added.
"She is cute," Terry said. I nearly stopped in my tracks before reminding myself who I was. I am Pansy Parkinson, confident, Slytherin, important and maybe, just a bit cute.
