AN: Super short one-shot about Chuck's toothpaste. I do not own Chuck, but I wish I did!
Chuck helped Sarah, bring in the groceries from the car, and began putting them away. "You bought the wrong toothpaste, Sarah," he said holding up the box. "This isn't Ever Bright."
"This one was half the price, dear, and it's exactly the same."
"No, Sarah, it's not the same! I always use Ever Bright."
"Chuck, don't be silly, toothpaste is toothpaste. There is no reason you can't use this brand. I don't understand the fuss you're making. Next time I go shopping, I'll buy Ever Bright."
Without another word, Chuck put the box down on the table, took Sarah into his arms, and kissed her. Even after five years of marriage, his kisses still made her weak in the knees, especially when they were as unexpected as this one. "Do you remember our first real kiss?" he asked still holding her tightly in his arms.
"Oh yes," she sighed. "It was at the apartment before the Shaw incident. After I told you that you were the one."
Chuck was grinning. "That was the day I started using Ever Bright. I saw the ad that morning, 'She'll never turn down your kisses if you use Ever Bright.' I bought a tube and used it that morning. I was surprised it worked even after all the whiskey and ice cream."
Sarah picked up the toothpaste, the register tape, and her purse. "I'll be right back, dear. After all why take chances?"
