Dontai, a broad shouldered junior, was the most popular kid in his high school. Everybody knew him, but his only loyal and true friends were five juniors, Mac, Thaz, (a nickname) Rose, Broly, (another nickname) and his favorite one, Tye. Funny thing is, Rose was the only girl in the friend group, and was Mac's girl. They hung out a lot after school, and today they made plans to go to the carnival. After all it was a Friday, so they wanted to do something fun. "Dontai! Dontai! DONTAI!" He woke up finally. "Huh?" Dontai questioned. He realized it was Tye. "Cmon! You slept the entire last period and I had to wake you up!" Tye yelled. "And Rose, Mac, Broly, and Thaz are waiting by the car, too." Soon Dontai and Tye met up with Thaz, Rose, Broly, and Mac. Thaz was driving, and within an hour they were at the carnival. The six got out and saw the ferris wheel. "We should go on that, since Thaz hates ferris wheels!" Broly said. "Vouch." Tye and Dontai said at the same time. "Well then let's get on boys!" Broly shouted and started running to the surprisingly short line. Now that Broly looked, he saw every ride had only 5 or 6 people, and some even had no people in line. That's surprising... Broly thought. "You guys notice these insanely short lines?" Broly said, a little shakily. "True. We're lucky I guess." Thaz said. Nobody seemed to notice Rose and Mac leaving with the car though. They only realized after Mac texted Dontai he took the car to have a "good time" with Rose. After they stopped laughing about what Mac was trying to pull off, they got on the ferris wheel. When the four were at the very top however, there was a bloodcurdling scream from somewhere on the ground. "What the fuck?" Tye said, confused. "I don't even know, do any of you guys see anything weird?" Dontai asked. "Nope." The 3 others said. They were shortly lowered to the ground, and already security was searching for something. "What are you guys looking for?" Broly asked one of the security guards. "A little girl. She was just kidnapped, her mother says." The guard said. "Can we help?" Thaz offered. "If you younglings want, just be careful." The security guard replied. So the four split up into 2 pairs of 2. Dontai with Tye, and Thaz with Broly.
Thaz and Broly's Search:
Thaz searched one area of the woods, while Broly searched in another area near him. Thaz was looking in a bush where he swore he saw something, when out of nothingness, a hand clamped over his mouth. Thaz struggled and struggled, but the man was too strong. He felt something being injected in him with a syringe, and being dragged before blacking out due to what the kidnapper put in the syringe. After Broly found nothing in his little search area, he went over to check if Thaz was ready to move on to look at some other area. But when he arrived, he was confused as to where Thaz went. "Thaz! Thaz where are you!?" Broly shouted and shouted. Then he noticed an empty syringe, and it looked new. But Broly didn't understand why it was there still. Then he spotted another object. It was shiny, and the sunset reflected off of it, making it impossible to see beyond the rays of light. When he got closer, he saw what it was and his jaw dropped. It's.. Thaz's phone... no! He started to run towards where he thought Thaz and his kidnapper went, when indeed, he saw Thaz! But then, a swift kick to his head by a big man knocked poor Broly right out.
Dontai and Tye's Search: (right after Broly and Thaz got kidnapped)
Dontai went to look in a new bush he hadn't searched yet, but was interrupted by Tye shouting. "Help! He-" Upon hearing this, Dontai broke into a sprint over to where he heard Tye. He broke into the clearing where Tye was screaming, and saw a scrawny teen in a full black suit and a ski mask standing over Tye, kicking Tye's head repeatedly. Dontai with all his strength, rammed the attacker's side. He pinned him to the ground, took his mask off, and recognized the kid-it was a quiet kid in the back of his english class. Dontai and Tye punched him in the head so many times, they knocked him out. They continued to drag his body to where the security guards were. "We found the kidnapper!" Tye yelled. Shortly after he said that, the quiet kid named Carl, woke up and said "I was merely an apprentice to the crime." That shocked everyone there.
